DEAR BIRTHMOTHER,
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and give us the opportunity to show you a little bit about what your baby's life would be like if we were fortunate enough to be chosen as parents. Through your selfless act of love you would be fulfilling our lifetime dream of hearing the words "MOMMY" and "DADDY" and making our lives complete.

We come to you very excited, anxious and scared as we embark on this wondrous journey of the miracle of adoption. Our commitment and promise to you is that we would love, nurture, cherish and put your baby first always. We would honor the opportunity to share a lifetime of fun, learning, and happiness with your baby. From Gymboree, preschool, mommy and me, soccer, dance, girl/boy scouts, along with the best education possible your baby would long for nothing. With us your baby will have every opportunity life has to offer and we will support him or him through the good and bad times always teaching patience, acceptance and tolerance along the way.

Just the thought of you having the strength and courage to consider adoption and give life to your baby tells us that there truly are angels amongst us!

We also wanted to let you know that we feel very strongly about having a full-time stay at home parent at least for the first three years of the baby’s life. We have waited a long time to become parents and by the grace of god and hard work we are in a position for Craig to stay home and be a real-life "Mr. Mom" teaching your baby during the informative years all the important skills him/her will need to have the ability to reach their dreams!

OUR LOVE STORY
After spending hours on the phone getting to know each we decided to meet for a blind-date. It was love at first sight! After years of dating and having a blast getting to know each other deeply Craig proposed to Mary at Megan’s Bay on the island of St. Thomas. While casually enjoying the beach at sunset, Craig got down on one knee and popped the question (what a beautiful setting)! September, 2001 we had our dream garden wedding complete with a horse drawn carriage. Our honeymoon was spent in Rome, Venice and a cruise through the Greek islands (can’t get much more romantic than this)! We have had our share of ups and downs but after 20 years our love continues to grow stronger every day.

WELCOME TO OUR HOME
We just recently sold our home of 10 years in Orange County and were able to purchase our Dream home in Valencia, CA. It is a gorgeous 4 bedroom two-story home complete with our own private resort in the backyard. The cul-de-sac neighborhood is the ideal situation to raise a child as it an extremely safe neighborhood (all cul-de-sacs) with one way in (very low traffic). We have the most amazing backyard where all the neighborhood children want to play complete with palm trees, Pool/Jacuzzi with rock formation and waterfalls throughout along with a nice grass area for a swing-set. We bought this home after visualizing our child playing in the large backyard and having all of their friends over to swim during the summertime. We want our home to be the one where the neighborhood children feel comfortable and hang out. Out neighborhood has a very country feel as there are lighted hiking trails 25 yards from our front-door that allow easy walking access through out the entire city of Valencia.

Our home represents who we are as a couple: warm, loving, and welcoming. Our friends and family have said that we have one of the most relaxing, comfortable homes they have visited as it is clean and organized but lived in. We have the perfect setting for the nursery which is connected to our master bedroom. Our living room with French doors that open up our patio and backyard is the focal point of our home. Living in Southern CA we spend a lot of time year-round in our backyard. We love to eat outside on our patio as much as possible. All that is missing is a child!

We share our home with two beautiful golden retrievers (Barney / Ruffles) and a Shih Tzu named Rocky. Our dogs are an extremely important part of our family, they are our babies! They love children and can’t wait to have a child to call their own!

Our neighborhood is very family friendly with many young children who get together and play. One of the main points our of neighborhood are the public schools which are in the top 10% in the nation. Our children will be able to walk to school after they get older without having to cross any streets as the walkway behind our home connects directly to the school. Valencia has been consistently voted as one of the best places in the state to raise children. There are many beautiful parks within easy walking distance of our home. We live in the heart of Southern CA: 10 minutes from Magic Mountain, 1 hour from Disneyland/Knott’s Berry Farm/ 45 minutes from the beach, 1.2 hours from the Mountains and 3 hours from San Diego. It would bring us great joy to show your child all that this paradise has to offer.

GET TO KNOW MARY BY CRAIG
Mary is the most generous person I know, she is a lifetime friend to anyone she meets. I was immediately attracted to her warm out-going positive personality. She is a very strong, independent woman. Her vivacious personality is contagious as you can’t help but smile when you are in her presence. She is a caring, committed, loving wife who I know will make an amazingly nurturing mother. She is already a truly awesome mommy to our three dogs as they are the most important thing in the world to her. She had great role-models growing up and comes from a very stable loving background. Her eyes light up whenever she is around one of our friend’s babies or young child. She dreams of the day when she will be a mommy.

Mary has worked very hard in her field (Travel Industry) to become a well respected Operations Manager overseeing a team of 20 employees. She is fortunate enough to work on-site at the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank where she is responsible for the travel department. Her career has given her many opportunities to travel,. just to name a few of the most exciting places she has been: Tahiti, Amazon Jungle (swam in the Amazon River), Japan, Italy, Greece, Caribbean and Mexico. I have been fortunate enough to see much of the world with her that I never would have had the opportunity to see. She also loves to cruise as she has been on 6 cruises just with her mother alone.

GET TO KNOW CRAIG BY MARY
Craig is the most genuine and committed person I know, when he makes a promise it is for a lifetime. He has a heart of gold. He would do anything to help out a friend or family member. He routinely helps my mother by taking her to doctor’s appointments, cleaning her pool or just hanging out with her. When I met him I knew immediately that he was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. He is going to make a fantastic father by giving his children a stable, loving and secure home. He has a child like way about him that instantly attracts children. He also has a very protective nature over his family and is always watching out for their best interest.

Craig loves to work out in our garage with weights and he takes very good care of himself. He is always trying some sort of healthy juice concoction or new vitamin to promote youth. He loves to barbeque and is a very good cook. He is there to send me off with breakfast in hand every morning and has dinner on the table every evening when I return home after a long day. He does a fantastic job of taking care of our home. He can’t wait to get busy painting the nursery.

Craig has had several successful careers both as a federal protection offer and a professional driver. As a protection officer has most memorable moment was guarding President Clinton. As a professional limousine driver one of his most memorable moments was being in Elizabeth Taylor’s home. He is very excited for the future when he will be a full-time stay at home father.

MEET OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Our family and close friends are our lifeline as they support us every step of the way. We are blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends.

Mary grew up in a very loving stable financially secure family in Orange County. Mary’s father was an aerospace engineer who could fix or build anything. He loved his children more than anything and everything he did in life was for them. Unfortunately he passed away in 2008; one of the last things he said to us was that it was his dream for us to experience parenthood. Through hard-work and investments he set up a very nice financially secure future for his children and grandchildren. Mary’s mother was a physical education teacher before becoming the best full-time stay at home mom a child could imagine. We are both incredibly close to Mary’s mom as we see her at least twice a week and she will make a wonderful, loving grandmother. Mary’s younger brother lives on the island of Elba in Italy with his wife. We would love to have the opportunity to show your child this amazing place.

Unfortunately Craig’s parents divorced when he was very young. He was mostly raised by his loving mother who struggled financially but always worked hard to take care of her boys. Craig’s father is a very dedicated, hard working man as he worked 30 years for the same company. He was the best-man at our wedding. Mom and Dad live close by and we have a relationship with both. Craig has a younger brother who is his best-friend. His brother and wife Debra will make amazing god-parents to your baby.

One of the most inspirational people in our lives is Craig’s grandmother, Millie, who is 92 years old. She is a pioneer to women by raising 4 children on her own and still lives independently in her own home to this day. Your baby will not only be showered with loving grandparents but also a very loving, spiritual great-grandmother.

We are also blessed to have many supporting friends close by; several with small children with whom we have loved and watched grow. Several of our friendships date back to elementary school.

Both sides of our family strongly support our decision to adopt and can’t wait to meet and shower your baby with love. Both parents are also overjoyed at the idea of being grandparents for the first time.

We will guide them in a positive direction to the best of our ability and ultimately accepting them for the individual adults that they grown in to.
