Dear Birthmother,
Our names are Kristin and Justice. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We can only begin to imagine how difficult the choice is that you are contemplating. We wish you peace in your decision.
We live in Southern California in a city called Murrieta. We are only about one hour away from everything: the beach, the mountains, the desert, Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo, LegoLand, and SeaWorld. Our town is very family friendly. We live in a 4 bedroom house that is about 2 blocks away from a great playground and less than 1/4 miles away from the elementary school.
Kristin works about 5 minutes away from home at a large medical device company as a Microbiologist. Kristin grew up in Rochester, NY with her parents and 1 younger brother. She has a very large extended family who we see about once a year where we relax right on Lake Ontario where her Mom lives. Kristin has an Aunt and Uncle who live in San Diego, right by the beach, who we see on a regular basis.
Justice works as a general manager at a sporting goods store. He was born in Washington state and grew up with his parents and 2 older sisters and 2 younger brothers. His sisters and their families, as well as his dad and step-mom currently live in the Las Vegas area where we visit each other once or twice a year. His brothers and mom live in San Diego, only about an hour away from us. We see them more frequently.
We met through eHarmony in May 2004. We hit it off pretty quickly and were married 2 years later. We have a very strong relationship that was made stronger by our struggles to expand our family. We are very rational people who don't argue, but will calmly discuss a decision to be made and come to a consensus. This may sound like we are boring people, but, we have a lot of fun together too! We make each other laugh. Justice has a talent for making bad puns. He has been rubbing off on Kristin in that regard and occassionally she will surprise him with one of her own! We enjoy hiking together when we get the chance. We have a tradition of getting an arm length snapshot of ourselves on every hike. We can't wait to add a child to those photos!
We look forward to raising children. We tried to have children without success and came to the conclusion that we really wanted to be parents. Parenting biological children isn't what's important to us. We can't wait to teach kids about the world and see it through their eyes. Justice, in particular, is looking forward to those insightful questions kids come up with.
Justice is great with kids. Our nephews and nieces love playing with him. He gets involved in running around the playground, reading with them, and playing games. He'd rather be active than watching TV. He also loves to learn. He researches anything that interests him. He loves the outdoors and spends his free time hiking and camping.
Kristin is extremely loving and supportive. Everyone she knows feels the benefit of this, and speak of how she encourages them and genuinely cares about their success and well being. Justice believes one of her greatest qualities is her compassion, and that it comes out in how she interacts with others.

- Baking the best chocolate chip cookies on the planet
- Power Tools - For a short while, Kristin, taught theater students how to use power tools in order to build sets.
- The Nutcracker Ballet - Kristin, used to take ballet, tap and jazz throughout my childhood and adolescence.
- Sewing - Kristin loves to make things like quilts, curtains for the house, or cover old furniture to make it look like new.

- Learning - Justice is an insatiable learner who will educate himself on subjects that catch his interest
- Hiking - Justice regularly treks through the San Jacinto mountains and can't wait to bring kids hiking with him
- Photography
- Martial Arts - Justice has earned his Black Belt in Kempo as well as studied other martial arts extensively
- Woodworking
5 Facts About Us
- We have 3 incredibly spoiled cats; 2 orange Manx and one cow cat (black/white domestic short-hair).
- We both got terrible sunburns from sitting on the Lake reading Harry Potter 6 when it came out.
- We both enjoy listening to National Public Radio for the news.
- Justice's best-friend also met his wife on eHarmony a couple of months before we did. We were also married only 6 weeks apart.
- We love to find the local, independent restaurants that are great rather than frequenting the chain restaurants.
