Here is our story…
We are an easy going, fun-loving couple, who have been married to each other for more than eight years. Dan is a savvy business owner with a wide variety of hobbies and interests. Monica is an outgoing, friendly energetic woman who has a lot of love to share with our families and especially your baby.
Although we come from different cultural backgrounds (Dan from the USA and Monica from Latin America), we do share common values and a positive approach to life. We believe in working hard to excel at our professional careers, but our priority is our family. At the end of each day, we enjoy being together and growing as a couple.
We like to ride bikes, play tennis, go to concerts, travel and have fun. In the past few years, we have taken trips to Hawaii, Colorado, Las Vegas, and South America. We have a good life now, but know it will be so much richer once we are parents. We are so looking forward to teaching your child to ride a bike and to build sandcastles on a family beach vacation. We know that is truly what life is all about.
Dan Talks About Monica
When I met Monica nine years ago, I was immediately attracted to her beauty, her radiant smile, and her sense of humor. As we dated, I realized that Monica is also an extremely intelligent, compassionate woman who approaches each day with zest and energy.
Monica is a very family oriented person, who loves to entertain our relatives, friends and their kids on weekends. She stays in close contact with her mother, her sisters, and her brother as well as our extended families.
Monica loves to play with children and they are quite attracted to her. Her face lights up when she sees a baby. She has always wanted to have children, and is so excited and feels so blessed to adopt a baby. As anyone who knows Monica would tell you, she will be a fantastic mother – if we are lucky enough for you to select us!

What Monica Does for Work
After earning her college degree in South America, Monica moved to the United States to broaden her horizons. For the last six years, she has worked at a bank, initially as a teller and now as a customer service representative. Monica enjoys interacting with her customers in either English or Spanish, since she is fluent in both languages.
He loves playing with children and is a big hit with our nephews when they visit. He plays sports and games with the kids and also entertains them with some magic tricks. I believe that he is going to be a wonderful father.
Dan learned a lot about how to treat children by watching how his father and mother raised him and his two brothers. He grew up playing a variety of sports. These days, Dan likes to spend time with our families and often grills food for them out on our back deck. Dan has a unique sense of humor that often shows up in the form of spontaneous jokes or stories. My whole family completely adores him.

What Dan Does for Work
When he was in his early 20’s, Dan worked as a whitewater raft guide, but then later helped his brothers start a successful boat manufacturing business. After earning a college degree, Dan started his own public relations and marketing agency. In business for more than 14 years now, Dan and his staff help generate national publicity for a wide variety of companies, products and people.
What We do for Fun
We enjoy a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor activities. At the end of each week, we unwind by eating out at a good restaurant, watching a movie, reading good books, or just relaxing at home.
In the summer, we like to play tennis; go for walks, and ride our bikes in a local park. In the winter, we go skiing and have taken trips together to ski resorts in Colorado, and Pennsylvania. In addition, we have taken our nephew Michael for ski lessons, and we enjoy skiing together on the beginner slopes. We look forward to sharing these and other outdoor activities as a family with your child.
Meet Our Family & Friends
Dan’s mom and dad raised him and his brothers in a typical mid-sized town. Dan’s father coached him on a Little League baseball team and often took him fishing. Dan’s mother, a real estate agent and homemaker, was always there to offer encouragement and talk about what happened that day. Dan’s brother Dave and his wife Margaret, and his other brother Chuck, often get together for the holidays. In addition, Dan has a number of good friends that he met through his various hobbies.
Monica’s parents raised her and her three sisters and one brother near the ocean. Monica’s father was a veterinarian, who really enjoyed raising a large family and being affectionate with his children. Monica’s mother, a home maker, is a feisty energetic woman who enjoys cooking, and teaching her children how to make tres leches cake, flan, and other desserts. Monica spends time visiting with her many friends that she has met through work, tennis, dance class, and other activities.
Home Sweet Home
We live in a beautiful two-story home in on the outskirts of mid-sized town. Our community is in a secure setting with amenities such as walking trails, swimming pools; play grounds, tennis courts and a golf course. We live very close to high quality schools, with major shopping centers, sport complexes and parks within a few minute’s drive. We are surrounded by neighbors with young children, which makes weekends lots of fun and very spirited in our neighborhood. We feel assured about living in such a family-friendly neighborhood.
