Dear Birth Mother;

Our names are Cory and Geovanny

Thank you for choosing to read our letter and considering us for the Adoptive Parents for your child. We can’t imagine what you must be going through in making such a difficult decision. We admire your courage, your strength and selflessness throughout this very important time in your life. After reading our letter it is our hope that you will be at ease and comforted knowing your baby is being placed within a loving and caring family.

Why We Have Chosen To Adopt

We met and fell in love almost 17 years ago. Six years ago on our 10 year anniversary we realized there was something missing in our lives, children. Immediately we knew that we both wanted to be parents and without a scientific breakthrough we are unable to have children of our own. Adoption is our only chance of having children. We were fortunate to have been chosen by a wonderful person to be the adoptive parents to her baby. We have never been happier. We were blessed with a beautiful baby boy that is about to turn 6 years old this year. This has been an amazing experience for us and continues to be on a daily basis. We are wanting once again to expand our family through adoption.

Who We Are

Cory is the funniest, smartest but yet sensible man I’ve ever known. He always has a positive attitude about life in general and he is also amazingly great at building things as well as solving any problems that we come across. He is a wonderfully devoted and loving father and partner. Cory is my best friend and life partner for 16 wonderful years. Cory has a great job with the United States Post Office. Talk about job security. Our son Christian is always saying how much he loves his daddy. I love watching them play together; they both have so much fun. Cory can make Christian laugh even if it is reading a book. I am truly blessed to have Cory as my life partner.

Geovanny is a caring and respectful partner. He believes fundamentally in the core values of Respect, Politeness and Trust. He is very outgoing, always planning things for us to do and keeping Christian active. He loves our organized and structured life we have created together. He enjoys working out and keeping healthy. Geovanny is always playing sports with Christian. He also has the patients of an angel, teaching our son the ABC’s or how to ride his bike. In geovannys free time he enjoys decorating our home, from painting to redoing an entire room. Geovanny is truly my rock that I can count on is good or hard times. After 16 years I’m crazier about him today than ever. He has a great job as a Flight Attendant that allows a truly flexible work schedule. He can work a little as 8 days a month or as many as 20 days a month.

As A Family

We love taking trips about every other year out of the country to someplace new. Since our son’s birth we’ve been to Honduras and Italy already and are planning a trip to Spain next year. We love trying new things especially local foods from the countries we are visiting. Geovanny and Christian are both bilingual (English & Spanish), me just a little Spanish. We love swimming, kayaking, horseback riding and various other activities. We take bike rides about every other day on some great bike paths by our house.

Our Community
We live in Overland Park, Kansas. Cory was born and raised here. Overland park is known for its beautiful parks and community activities. We live in a great house on a tree-lined street with lots of other children around. We have one of the best ranked school districts in the U.S. and are centrally located to both coasts being in the middle of the U.S. There is a farmstead with lots of animals to feed and pet within biking distance. We love our community and the surrounding areas.

Our Hopes

We would like to thank you for taking the time to read our letter and becoming more acquainted with who we are. We hope to have made you feel comfortable and rest assured about placing your child with us. Our son would be blessed with a sibling and we would be blessed with another bundle of joy. Please know that if given the privilege of abopting your child, we assure you that we will love, provide for and protect him or her like no other could. It will be such a blessing and an honor for us.
