Dear Birth Mother, Hello! We are Bill and Becky. We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. This is a very exciting experience for us and we look forward to being able to complete our family. We promise you that we will love your child as our very own. We hope that should we get the opportunity to meet, you will see how dedicated we are to ensuring your child will have a loving home and well rounded life. We would consider it an honor and privilege to be your child’s parents. We want you to know that we respect and gratefully appreciate your decision for adoption.
Why we chose adoption:
We always knew we wanted to have children. We discussed adoption many times and always said it was an option we would be totally fine with. We started researching adoption and the making the decision to move forward with it. We know that God has a child out there just for us and we are ready to give him/her a loving home. We’ve heard people say anyone can be a mother or a father. We are looking forward to being a mommy and a daddy and we know that we will be that to your child if given the opportunity.
Our Life:
We met fifteen years ago through a mutual friend. We have been married for fourteen years and are just as much in love with each other today. We love to have fun with our family and friends. We respect each other and don’t make any decisions without the other. We are active in our church. We like to go to car races but also like just hanging out at home. We love to joke around with each other. We are very committed to each other, our marriage, and to raising our family.
Bill Shares about Becky:
Becky is an office manager for a family owned insurance agency. She’s very fortunate enough to work for a family oriented business where family always comes first. She is smart and a very hard and dedicated worker. She has a very outgoing personality and good sense of humor. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, attends aerobics classes three days a week, and goes to church. She likes going out to nice dinners but also is just as content with staying home and spending quality time together. She is a wonderful aunt and I know as a mother, she will always put your child first in everything. She will love your child with all that she has.
Becky shares about Bill:
Bill is a lineman for a large telephone company. His job is very secure and he has a career with excellent benefits. He is a hard worker both on the job and at home. He is wonderful about taking care of things around the house and providing a great life for us. Some of the things he enjoys are weight lifting, playing softball, and attending church. Two of his favorite things are working on his old car and hunting with my dad. He is a strong, level headed man. He loves his nephews and niece like they are his own. I can’t wait to see him be the wonderful dad that I know he will be.
Our Families:
Bill has one younger and one older brother, and one young sister. They all live out of town but we get together as often as we can and enjoy spending time together. We all talk often by phone or email and never let a holiday pass by without being together. His oldest brother has two boys that think their Uncle Bill is the greatest thing ever! They have always had a special bond and people say the oldest one looks like Bill. His sister in law is an only child and can’t wait to be an aunt. His mom can’t wait to be a Nana again. She also lives out of town but will be a big part of your child’s life.
Becky is the baby of the family. She has two older sisters and one half brother. She and her niece are very close. They all live in the same town and we get together every other Sunday for family supper and to spend time together. Her dad is one of ten and her mom is one of four children so she has lots of cousins and extended family. All of our families are so excited about us adopting and can’t wait to have another child around.
Our Home and Neighborhood:
We live in a rural area in Kentucky about five miles from town. There is a new elementary school three miles from our house. Matter of fact, it’s the same school Bill went to. They built a new building a little closer to town. Our church is just down the road from there. We built our ranch style brick home five years ago. It is very spacious and has a room ready to be decorated for the newest addition to our family. We live on two acres so there’s plenty of room to run and play. Our nephews love to come and ride the four-wheeler every chance they get.
