We actively search nationwide for a suitable birth mother for you. Our resources are extensive, ranging from nationwide advertising in national directories and newspapers, to an outreach program reaching various hospitals, clinics, and physician's offices throughout the country. We also maintain a toll free 800 line for birth mothers to contact us. Some of the services which may be provided include, but are not limited to:
- Helping educate you about the adoption process
- Assisting you in defining a suitable birth mother's criteria, based upon your preferences
- Assisting you in drafting, and then finalizing, a "Dear Birth Mother" letter for remittance to birth mothers
- Assisting you in starting the Homestudy process, if required, as most prospective adopting parents begin the search for the birth mother prior to beginning the Homestudy
- Remitting your "Dear Birth Mother" letter to prospective birth mothers
- Screening prospective birth mothers
- Verifying pregnancy status of prospective birth mothers
- Discussing your background with prospective birth mothers
- Contacting you upon being selected by a prospective birth mother
- Reviewing with you the information provided to AdoptHelp by a prospective birth mother
- Communicating between you and the prospective birth mother; and/or acting as a liaison between you and a prospective birth mother
- Assisting you in solidifying a "match" between you and a birth mother
